❓ FAQ
What is the Nunavut Child Benefit (NUCB)? β–Ό

The basic benefit is $696 per year per child ($58.00/month), doubled from $348 effective July 2026. The Territorial Workers' Supplement adds up to $24.16/month for one child or $30.75/month for two or more children.
At what income does the NUCB reduce? β–Ό

Do I need to apply for the NUCB? β–Ό
No. You do not need to apply separately. The CRA automatically determines your eligibility based on your CCB application and tax return.
When are NUCB payments made? β–Ό
NUCB payments are combined with the CCB and made monthly on the 20th of each month.

If you move to Nunavut, you become eligible in the month after becoming a resident. If you move out of Nunavut, your NUCB payments stop.
